Where are all the games?

What's up with people selling their 360's, buying a new console and then complaining that they miss their 360 and 360 games? Didn't people like me warn you that it was going to be a while and that maybe you should wait on the X1 and enjoy the 360 a bit
longer?

the few that have reviewed seem somewhat lackluster --- in the low 80's ... I'm going to get it for sure, but still a bit disappointing.

The PC review is up on a few sites, but the game sites didn't get a copy of the console versions until yesterday. Plus they wanted to wait to play until the major update was applied (today) as well as with the texture pack. So the review is out for a bit.

 

I mean, what did you get for it? 60$? I understand that, that was 60$ that you didn't have to pay... but you have to keep your classics. I do understand though. I had to trade in my stuff to get the 360. But I went out and repurchased my OG Xbox. Which
ultimately costed me more money, never again.

Just pre order your console and games the day it is announced and slowly pay it off with each paycheck. Pre-Ordering can be good outside of bonus content. It is good because it is like lay away.

 

It is the infamous new console dry patch. All the new games for the Xbox One will start coming out October. So you have several options.

1. Wait till October.

2. Enjoy what the Xbox One currently has to offer.

3. Play your Xbox 360.

If you sold your Xbox 360 and games I suggest going with the first and second step.. Or you could always find other stuff to do to keep you entertained like painting a picture, flying a kite, watching a movie etc for the time being. The world is your oyster

 

Another thing you must realize is that new consoles take at least 1-2 years to kick off before they start becoming the norm and receive a lot of software and hardware updates.

Just be patient, the games and all else are coming soon.

The hardware of the Xbox One is incompatible for running Xbox 360 games. While it may be possible for this option to become available in the future, it would probably require a lot of money & time to create an Xbox 360 emulator. Then, and even then the
problem is going to be how well will the emulator work as it will probably be glitchy; thus not worth using. Henceforth, the money & time spent was just wasted & could have been better spent concentrating on Xbox One game(s).

Backwards Compatibility would have been awesome, but that is why I kept my Original Xbox & why I'm going to keep my Xbox 360 after I pick-up my Xbox One in Fall 2015

Please don't be mad / angry at me, I'm just telling you what it is probably going to happend as far as Backwards Compatability is concerned.

In regards to having games to play, it takes about a year for the good games to hit the market as launch titles represent a launch console's first steps. If you noticed, the games that come out in the middle to the end of the life cycle of a console tend
to be MUCH better than the launch titles

More indy games would be good filler for the months with nothing big releasing. August/September will start tot pick up. Sunset overdrive and forza horizon 2 kick start a winter of joy

 

Summer has always been somewhat of a slow season for game releases. Not a bad thing since it gives me a chance to catch up on my back log but just wait for Fall. You'll be broke but have plenty of games lol

 

All I can say OP, if you have some spare cash, go pick up a cheap 360 to keep you going until more X1 game's come out.

 

I'm pretty easy to keep happy... Forza/FIFA/BF/Titanfall could keep me entertained for years, TR/WD both were very enjoyable, yet to play some of the free arcade games, and still want DR3/Ryse/AC4. In 2 months there's a lot of games incoming. If I'm honest,
this feels far richer in content than the 360 launch.

 

People should just keep their 360s and not trade them in.

And october and november... enough said lol

 

Selling or trading away your 360 is like saying "I'm not a true gamer, games suck, bargains suck and I should just go put together a thousand piece puzzle with my grandma on her coffee table."

 

I'd of massively regretted it, if I had traded My 360 in last November. I honestly nearly did too. No, My 360 is here to stay, the day it has to go is the day it no longer turn's on.
