Usually, this is an issue that is related to the Gaming Services application, the issue can be resolved by fixing it, however, some users have reported that this is no longer working. Anyway, I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

First make sure you are using the latest version of windows, to do this follow the instructions below.

Select the Start button and then go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update.

- If there are no updates to be made, please proceed with the solutions below.

Solution 1:

Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

PC reboot

Install gaming service like you would normally

Solution 2:

Go to Windows settings
Applications
Applications and Features
Look for Gaming Services
Click on it
Advanced options
Tap repair

- If it doesn't work, try the alternative below.

Download the Create Windows 10 installation media application from the link below, at the end of the download run the application, and then follow the instructions given by the program at the end click on upgrade. I am still facing the Xbox game pass problem. Whenever I try to open a game from game pass it redirects me to Microsoft Store "Gaming Services" I already have that installed.

I did manage to get halo infinite campaign installed but now whenever i try to open halo infinite it opens up the Microsoft Store's Gaming Services page instead. I am on game pass on PC. Ive tried reinstalling the xbox app but it still doesnt work.

I've tried reinstalling the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages, the x64 and x86 ones, and that hasn't worked. I tried installing DirectX, but it said I already have DirectX installed on my computer. It isn't just Geometry Dash, it's also whenever I open my computer from being shut down, and any game in general.

I fear I may need to factory reset...

I have Xbox Game Pass for PC. I have linked my account with Ubisoft, Steam, and EA Play. All these apps are also installed on my PC. Whenever I try to install a game off of the game pass, I get a popup stating I need to download one of those apps even though they are installed. I have tried downloading directly from the store and this does not work. I have also made sure all my correct accounts are linked.
