    Xbox sign in issue

I seem to be having trouble with my account sign in. I can sign into the Xbox when I start it up but whenever I start up a game or an application, it signs me straight out of my account and I have to sign back in. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I keep disconnecting whenever I start a game up

I had the same issue. Wiping my system cache did nothing, but re-downloading my profile worked and I can play online again.

    Thanks Luke.

    Hey there Venom!

It could be that your gamer profile might have become corrupted.

I would suggest that you delete your profile (Delete Profile Only) and recover your profile from Live. But, before you go ahead and delete your profile off your console's storage device, make sure your console have a solid connection to Live.

Go to Xbox Network Settings and select Test Xbox Live Connection. If all is good, fine! You can now safely delete your profile. Here's how:

    Delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

    1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
    2. Select Storage.
    3. Select All Devices.
    4. Select Gamer Profiles.
    5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
    6. Select Delete.
    7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

You may also want to clear your Xbox system cache. Repeat this process 3 times in a row.

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
    2. Select Storage or Memory.
    3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
    4. Select Clear System Cache.
    5. Repeat this process, 3 times in row.

    Restart your console.

    Download Xbox LIVE profile.

    1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
    2. Select Download Profile.
    3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
    4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

Post back and let us know how that goes.

Hey there, LACO711CLERK2! I'm very sorry to see that you were affected by our service alert a couple days ago. This thread is over a year old.

The credit you mention is likely related to Xbox Rewards. You will want to post up the
Rewards support forums to look into that issue for you.

We do strive to make sure our service is up and running for all users, however interruptions do happen. Sections 5 and 8 of our
Xbox Live Terms of Use touch on this. If you are still having issues staying signed in, please post up a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've completed. This way our community
can get you the individual support that works best on the forums. :)

I would say thanks but my xbox has been getting me upset and this issue is taking way too long to fix. I wish I knew what was actually happening as opposed to being in the dark and being told that "their working on it". As if there are magical creatures
from the never ending story messing things up. I'm sorry for the rudeness. But I paid for an Xbox live service without interruptions. And its been a week almost that I can't play what I want or enjoy movies without it signing me out over and over again. I
have also paid for movies I cant enjoy and well now I'm also upset for spending money on online games like the stuff I bought in October and I never got my credit back for buying a certain amount before the end of that month. I've been getting cheated out
a little at a time and that's usually how a car starts to warn you that its breaking down and soon it will burn holes in your wallet. I'm upset and rambling but this is wrong on many levels. No pun intended. I seriously thinking of dumping xbox entirely and
to heck with refund's. That rule should be changed. People work hard and expect for payment of anything that a service is provided. I mean who are you. Right now it looks like my service is acting like a contractor does when they get paid for a job on a house
but leave it at 30% done and then skip town. Glad I got this off my chest.
