    The computer beeps with any steam game on and my Xbox controller plugged in to my PC. The only time the computer stops beeping is when I unplug the computer from the power from the wall. Then I only have 30 minutes of game time. Its a ACER nitro 5 AN515-53

    I already got one response that its the intel turbo boost but I don't even have that on my system in the bios.

    While looking for resources, we found out that this could be cause of the Turbo Boost in your device. What we can recommend you is to try to turn off the Turbo Boost and check if issue persists. Support article from Intel (How Is Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Enabled or Disabled?), provided information about Turbo Boost Technology and disabling this feature will require you to contact your device's manufacturer - Acer Support Worldwide.

    I don't even have Intel turbo boost as an application or as a setting in my bios.

    Is there something else it could be.

    1. Use the Hardware & Devices Troubleshooter

    Type Troubleshoot in Windows Start Search box > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down & Click Hardware & Devices > Click Run the Troubleshooter & follow on-screen directions > Restart the computer after troubleshooting is completed

    2. Take actions related to Controller

    Windows Key+X > Click Device Manager > Locate Xbox controller (should be under Sound, Video and game controllers ) > Right click

    A. Rollback the Driver

    Click Properties > Go to Driver tab > If there is rollback option, click it

    B. Uninstall - Uninstall > Reboot and the driver will be automatically installed

    C. Update - Update Driver > Click Update Driver Software > Click Browse my computer for driver software > Click Let my pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > Choose the driver > Click Next to update > Reboot

    If this does not work, select Search automatically for the updated driver in place of Browse my computer for driver software > Reboot.

    Whenever my controller has trouble connecting to an xbox, I use the plug and play cable. It will automatically sync your controller because it is plugged into your xbox and once that is done, unplugging it should leave it synced
