    Whenever I play a game, I am redirected to the XBL Gold sign up page even though I have gold.


    So today around 8 hours ago, in the morning, I redeemed my Xbox live gold code for 3 months. I got it and it says I have the gold membership. But whenever I play a game, it redirects me to the Xbox live gold sign up page. I don't understand.

    Cannot download games with gold

    Whenever i try to download a games with gold i get a message saying instalation stopped and when i try to resume the installation it says "Renew your membership to play this game" even though i already have xbox live gold.

    Is the Gold service correctly active in the "Subscriptions" section of the console?

    If everything is working, try restarting the console by holding down the power button for 10 secs and try again.

    I am having the same issue, it shows my subscription expiring in January 2019 but I am unable to play any games online. We have restarted the console with no luck. Any other suggestions?

    What I mean is that whenever I try to sign into another account to play multiplayer games I can't sign in also my Xbox live gold has been renewed but I am having problems with purchasing games for free I even changed the password for one of my accounts but

    Are you saying that I was unsubscribed from XBL Gold at the time? The promotion was for signing up for XBL Rewards, not Gold.
