Whenever i join a party i lag out of the party and game

Hello,

So as stated in the title, Whenever i join a party on Xbox one, i get lagged out of the game and the party.

But when i just play a game without getting in a party everything is fine. My NAT type is open, my ping is good and I can use all services. It's just when i join a party that i get constant lag spikes. This occurs with pretty much every online game.

I hope this can get fixed since it's really annoying.

Lagging offline when in a Party

I have been experiecning this problem for a couple of days now. Whenever I am online and playing a game, if I am in a XBOX LIVE PARTY I get lagged out of the party (and my friends say my mic lags), and I get booted out from the game. I originally thought
this was a problem with my internet, however I do not believe it is. I have talked with my ISP and replaced my router and my signal is perfectly fine. My computer never lags, even when my Xbox is lagging.

Something I did discover though was that this lag only occurs if I am in a XBOX PARTY. I can play any game completely fine and not lag at all, but as soon as I join a party I start to lag in and out of the party, and out of the online game I am playing.
I am starting to think it is either a hardware issue with my xbox, or a problem with XBOX LIVE itself, rather than an internet problem.

 

Xbox Losing connection

Been playing now for ~ 30 min. with no disconnect, however whenever I join Xbox Live Party, I lag constantly. Probably separate issue.

Hmm. How is your console connected to your home network? Is it using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable? And can you provide us with a screenshot of your detailed network statistics as well as your networking hardware (make and model of your router and modem) and
ISP?

Having more information will help us troubleshoot better so keep us posted.
