    I have a PC, win 10. And this has only started happening when I got my new headset 3-4 months ago, the "Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless".

    Now, whenever I join a Xbox party chat, discord call, or do anything that involves a microphone, my internet disconnects. At first I thought it was just my internet dongle, but it doesn't happen to my brother who has the same pc specs and dongle.

    This has only started happening when I got the headset and I don't even use the mic on it (the headset) as I have a yeti snowball which worked perfectly fine before I got the headset.

    When the internet disconnects, sometimes (if I wait around 10 minutes), the internet will just come back on. Most of the time however, my internet dongle stops working and I cant reconnect back to the internet unless I restart my pc.

    TLDR- Internet worked fine before I got headset, if i join a party or call, internet dies and doesn't come on until I restart my pc.

    Upon isolating your issue, it seems like the internet disconnects is related on how your device is connected to the internet and possibly because of the headset you are using. Are you using laptop or computer?

    1. May we know if these are up-to-date - PC and Xbox apps (Xbox app/Xbox Console Companion, Xbox Accessories, Xbox Game Bar, Gaming Services)?
    2. If you are closer to the router, will the issue persist?
    3. Have you tried using different microphone, while you are upstairs? How about if you are closer to the router? Will the issue persists?

    To better isolate your issue, we would like to ask for few things.

    Are you connected to the internet wirelessly? If yes, would you mind connecting to your internet in ethernet?

    May we ask in what application or settings do you use to change your microphone or do something about speaking?

    In joining a call are you using a Microsoft applications (Microsoft Teams or Skype) or third party apps/website? Please specify.

    Have you tried recording an audio on Voice recorder app in PC? Whenever you speak does it disconnects you to the internet too?

    Please, do not forget to check here for known issues that might be related to your concern.

    Whenever I change my microphone or do something that involves speaking, like joining a call/party, my internet disconnects.

    I am wireless and I cant sadly connect to ethernet as well, the routers downstairs and I'm upstairs,
    I cant join Xbox parties or discord calls/voice chats without disconnecting after, around 3-4 minutes.

    And no it does not disconnect me when I am either streaming on twitch, or recording my voice.
