Remeeming errors are usually caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check your billing information at http://billing.microsoft.com and http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues. After that try redeeming the code on
both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that account , console and code region match, using different regions van cause issues too.

If you can't find anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Hi, yes, i try to activate this code both on console and on xbox.com and i get unknown error

I have two codes, first come with console, and i activate it,

second come with "world of tanks" game and i can't activate it.

I'm also receiving the issue... My friends list shows none online, but I know done are on as they are posting to the activity feed. Also, when attempting to access the achievement leaderboard I get the following error code 0x87c4000f, this code is not in
the database of error codes and is unknown. When I check the Xbox live service status on Xbox.com it shows everything is fine.

I'm having the same problem just bought SSFIV AE and when I try to get my game activation key in GFWL marketplace it just says an unknown error has occurred.
