When you preorder digitally you should not have to wait for the game to install for an hour.

This is crap the game downloaded already and I have not had to wait for any other game to install after PRE ordering it. Why do I have to wait cor gtat to do so. Microsoft has really hit the bottom 360 was great but this 1 is garbage and needs some serious
attention. Fix your issues or I will be forced to take my money elsewhere which is sad considering I have been an xbox user since xbox the original system. That is all good day!

Pre-load TitanFall (Digital Purchase)

You should be able to preorder digitally when MS releases the March update for the X1. At least that's what I understood.

Sorry if these have been asked before, but: 1. Are you able to preorder digital copy of games and still get the preorder bonus (including the day 1 games)? 2. Will the Kinect come with a mounting bracket for the top of flat screens? (It should) For my
recommendation: Since every retail game will be available digitally day 1, I would love to see Live let you digitally rent games.

 

Even though I'm sort of relieved that I'm not the only person experiencing this, it actually makes me even more upset. The only reason I pre-ordered was so I could pre-download it and have it ready to go at launch.

Im pretty frustrated. I was looking forward to a bit of play time before I have to go to work. Had the whole game downloaded and ready for launch night, only for me to sit here an hour and a half later at 3% completion.

 

That's the same reason why I pre-ordered. I thought it would be ready to go after the pre-load and wanted to play at launch before work but I'm sitting here at 28% after almost 2 hours. It started to install more quickly as time progressed but it's starting
to slow down again...

 

I've been installing for 6 hours now and only at 76% sometimes it goes quick then there's times where it moves up 1% in half an hour...

 

Its great how we assume that digitally preordering would be the most convenient method of getting a new game when infact it can just as easily turn into the most inconvenient way. Its probably gonna be sometime Wednesday before I can play compared to me
taking a 10 minute drive to buy it physically.

 

I agree with you 100% II Don Vito II.. Started installing it at 5:00pm yesterday, it is now 12:47am and luckily it's at a whopping 86% wahoo!

 

I notice it takes longer when you game or use the xbox. I always restarted the xbox when it started to download in the kb/s. It usually jumped back to upto reasonable speeds, but not always. Took me 13 mins from 85-98% but half an hour for the last 2.

It's a joke.

Check settings> network> bandwidth usage for your current download speed.

 

Pre-downloaded. Now stuck four and a half hours later re-downloading the whole thing apparently. Currently at 66% after four and a half hours. As everyone else has already said: what was the point of pre-downloading, again?

 

If you have already pre-downloaded a game and your console wants you to reinstall it, Turn your console off completely and turn it back on and your game will now show as installed. The only thing you need to install would be a 1GB* roughly day one update.

Please note that if you have already started the install process again the above method will not work.

 

same issue here. predoanloaded a couple of days ago, and it also took me several days to download as i have a very bad internet connetction. took the day off from work today to play at launch, but nope. after ~13h of downloading now again im at 23%... .
game says "ready to play", but that doesnt help it, as you are just in another "install screen of GTA V". does anyone know, at which % the game might be able to launch properly or does it need to be at 100%?

so great, now im stuck with playing lowfps assassins creed i guess...
