When you plug Kinect into my Xbox One X, it shuts down subtly.

I have tried all of the suggestions that were listed. My xbox one x has been plugged into this storage device for nearly a year, and the xbox one before this one for nearly a year. As of today my xbox turns on but only to shut down entirely (like a hard
shut down). I unplugged my Seagate 1TB portable storage device and the xbox will work, but ever time I plug in the storage it shuts down. I have reset the console. I have plugged the storage device into my laptop and ran diagnostics on it and it seems fine.
I see that there was an update yesterday, and this happened today. I have also seen a number of posts with people having the same issues over the last couple of year. I am unable to do anything to the storage device when it is plugged into the xbox because
it shuts down without loading. I have also plugged the device into my old Xbox One with the same results.

Please provide adequate fix actions/troubleshooting tips.

Sorry to hear it. Is this for the Xbox One? If so and you are still having trouble please try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. Then unplug everything from it for 5 minutes. When you plug
everything back in please make sure that your Kinect adapter is plugged into a wall socket

No one has "Shut down "Kinect. Have you tried a full hard restart and re plugging in the Kinect? There is always the chance it has just broken.

To do a hard restart hold the power button on the xbox for 10 seconds till it fully turns off. Plug everything for 30 seconds *This also clears cache* Then plug it all back in and try.
