When Xbox Accessories App for PC gonna be fixed or updated?

I cant configure my Xbox Elite 2 controller(firmware 5.11.3115.0 ) bcoz it said controller's new firmware not supported.

The advisor or microsoft employee told me/us to use the console to have my controller downgrade or configure.
The porblem is that i dont have xbox console.

not everybody have a Xbox console.

suggesting borrow a console from a friend? I don't have friends with a console

use the console from a total stranger? it is about 1-2 hour drive from here.

ok i know you dont want to hear this as you have stated you dont have access to an xbox but i was able to revert the firmware thanks to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32ylylC13dc and my windows 11 build 22581 which is a beta preview build as an xbox insider as of 3/30/2022 and was able to get it to connect to the accessories app however microsoft does need to fix this as i didnt have an xbox a month ago so a month ago when i ran into this issue i couldnt fix it i'm going to find my preview webpage and report it and also report the fix hopefully it gets read by someone.

Same issue, it’s ridiculous it’s taking Microsoft to fix this big of a problem for such a high quality product. Almost makes me want to return it (bought it new) and go buy something else

Then it seems they need to update the app so we don't need a console anymore, I totally understand the frustration.

I suggest uninstalling the accessories app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders, maybe this will also work for your issue! Here are the steps!

I already did that.

I even uninstall > shut down PC > turn on PC > install xbox accessories app

I tried on both both on windows 10 and 11. Their OS is updated.
