When will you guys be fixing two-step verification?

I had it set up recently and it works fine on the Xbox One but every time I tried to sign in on my 360, it won't let me sign in. It told me to use the app password found in the Microsoft Account app and I tried that and it didn't work. I had to disable it
to be able to sign in on the 360.

Hey, guys! If you have two-step verification set up on your account, you will need to use your App password instead of your regular password. You can also turn it off following the steps

listed here. That should solve what issue you guys are seeing. Let us know if that works!

I can't sign in to my Xbox Live Account.

Try to turn off the two-step verification. > Change password > Download profile.

As I know with the two-step verification, you will be asked for two passwords. Password of your e-mail and the app password. It's so confusing.

It sounds like you are having an issue with Two-Step Verification. If it is asking you for an app password then yes, you will need to disable the Two-Step Verification so that you could sign in into your account without an app password. Here's the link to

I understand how you feel, two step verification does not work properly with xbox 360, and there's more: If you lost access to your account and have two step verification active and does not have any security proofs, you won't be able to recover your account,
so, use it with caution

I did disable it immediately but it's a shame I can't have this. I think I'll survive though.

If you weren't able to regain access to your account after that, you might be out of luck though.
