When will you get it right?

You make so much money a year.around 5.5 Billion dollars. But you can't even keep us gamers connected. You have lost connection with the most important thing for your company... US! The gamers. You give no retribution for hours of lost gaming due to your
failures and mistakes. All you give us is "sorry for the inconvenience". That's not enough. I have been a die hard xbox enthusiast for many years. Ever since the Xbox one had been released, as time passes is becoming more and more like a paper weight than
a gaming console. Playstation is free and had its problems, which is expected when is free online gaming. But 5.5 Billion dollars a year at least from people buying xbox live gold not even including people buying xbox money cards and you can't even go 1 month
without having problems. What does that say about what your priorities are? What are you going to do for us gamers to keep us on your console. To keep us coming back. To keep us paying 60 dollars for xbox live?

To be honest, they never gave a real date until now. They only speculated that it looked like it might be coming in March. Never a guarantee at all.

 

i agree! i feel like with xbox being created and owned by microsoft, one of the biggest computer companies(if not the biggest) in the world, that issues which have come to surface recently(actually i have just found out that there has been countless issues
with the xbox1 since the start) would not even be the lightest of a problem to fix. especially with the amount of money being brought in from sales and monthly fees. im definitely going to go ahead and sell my xbox. i bought a playstation last night after
i couldnt get online and i am already in favor entirely of how much smoother everything is. It just sucks that all my friends on xbox. if this keeps up though, i dont think it will be hard to convert at all. i sure hope things make a turn for the better

 

I agree that Microsoft has dropped the ball on numerous occasions and continues to do so but Playstations has been having the same problems and I'm pretty sure they charge to play online on the Playstation 4. I am debating on if I should sell my X1 though
because between the live service problems and the ludicrous problems with the Master Chief Collection, (basically the only reason I bought an xbox over any other console) it just doesn't seem worth it. It just depends how much of my losses I can recoup after
buying this enormous paperweight and 9 of its lackluster games :/

enjoy it shimmy.... you are one of the few. im assuming that some of the issue is from rockstar games, but trying to play grand theft auto last night was a *** joke. literally took almost in hour to get most of us in a game together.

 

Shimmy isn`t one of the few at all, he is one of the millions that realise microsoft can only do so much against a DDOS attack, and now its sorted is just enjoying his games again.

What he isn`t doing is coming here moaning for compensation, or moving to other consoles, that were hacked exactly the same way at the same time.

If you were owed money back for your lost subscription time, it would work out less than $1.

 

Not only are they having issues with keeping people connected, now they have been hacked. So for all gamers if you have a credit card on file in the system your card has now been released publicly along with any other information that may have been on your
profile. This didn't just happen to Xbox but I would like to know why they themselves have not taken the time to issue a statement about what they are going to do to rectify this situation for all gamers involved.

Xbox live suffered a DDOS, it was not hacked, no ones details have been taken.

for me live on the 360 was a great experience and why there was no question about which new console to buy. sadly, i am not having the same great "live" experience on the XB1. i purposely waited a year too, to allow MS to work out all the bugs......

i don't blame MS for the DDOS attack, it was frustrating for all of us and hopefully behind us for now. it's all the simple things that should work perfectly that have been glitchy at best. it's just one sad excuse ( don't know what happened there, try that
again later....) after another. for example, ( and my current reason to be here searching for answers instead of playing with my friends) when i log on i can see all my friends are online by looking at the dashboard but if i switch to my friends list, they
are all offline now. i know they're actually online because i can talk to them by phone. so i have spent the last hour and a half resetting everything in my house over and over trying to be able to join my fiends for a couple hours of morning gaming before
off to daily grind. not to be again today!

so yes, when will MS get it right? it's been a year since launch and you can't even get the friends list working properly??

 

It is odd that DDOS attacks are so strong these days. I thought Microsoft and Sony would have some work around for DDOS attacks by now, but it seems they have not bothered to do much.
