When will you be fixing achievements from the gaming tab?

Hi, there is a glitch that has been happening for YEARS to some people who have played approximately over a thousand Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and/or Windows 10 games on their profile. From the gaming tab the achievements are stuck at 0/1000 despite having unlocked achievement(s). Xbox 360 and GFW PC games seem to be immune from this issue.

I have launched over 2,600 games, unlocked over 2 millions GamerScore and 80% of my games are stuck at 0%. The more game I launch the worse it gets. My GT has been glitched since early 2019, nothing has been fixed since then. Lots of my friends have encountered this glitch as well while others don’t despite having unlocked over 1.5 million GS. I’m not certain what is causing it but it has been a long time since it has been happening. Gamers like Stallion83 had their profile glitched right after the release of the Xbox One in 2013 for example.

I know people from MSF are aware of the glitch but they don’t seem to care about this issue, I totally understand that achievement is not a top priority but 9 years is a long time without some sort of solution. It has a bit disappointing coming from a company who has a huge server infrastructure and initially created the concept of achievements before Steam and PlayStation incorporated them. It seem to be a server issue, but I don’t understand why it occurs. whenever I scroll down my games it only show at most, maybe my most recent 600 to 700 games and not my full gaming history.

Back in the days, when a profile glitched on the 360 redownloading it from MSF server usually resolved whatever the problem was, unfortunately nowadays it doesn’t change anything. Please, incorporate something to sync achievement back to normal, thank you and happy gaming.

It’s a server-side glitch that happens when you played more than 1000 games. Unfortunately, we are still recovering from the pandemic, and this is likely a low priority item as it doesn’t actually affect anything other than displaying a number, all your achievements are still there.

You have to be very careful with glitches like this, as you can create a cascade failure very easily when you start screwing around with databases.

I may have fixed my problem. I was looking at my achievements on the games tab of the guide button and saw a game with zero gamerscore i played at my friends house so i deleted it. Later on I looked at my windows live id screen in the social tab and it was
back to normal. I think when i deleted the zero gamerscore game from the achievement list it pulled the info i needed from live thus snapping my social screen back into place.

I usually have trueachievements opened on my phone when I play anyway.

That being said, an improvement to achievement tracking would be great. When no game is running the achievements tab doesn't show anything. I wish it showed at least the last opened game's achievements.

I think the achievements tab is due an update

Hello,

On Xbox, when you download the game, the Next Achievements only show after you download them because they are available for you to achieve, because there downloaded to your console even if you do not start them. It is the condition of being "available" that populates them to the list. If you delete the game in question, does it stop showing the achievement in the Next Achievement tab?

As far as I am aware, you cannot hide the Next Achievement Tab in Game Activity.
