When will Xbox Live servers shutdown on Xbox 360?

The why was the OG Xbox servers shut down, I mean you needed it for Xbox 360?

the OG Xbox live was a completely different system, when the 360 came out they moved to a new and improved version of live which was not compatible with the og box. the 360 uses the same infrastructure (backbone) as the latest Xbox.

As the 360 backbone is needed for backwards compatibility, it’s unlikely basic 360 support is going anywhere. Publishers are free to take down servers, but I believe they’ve moved them to Azure, so there aren’t any non-contractual reasons to discontinue them.

I Highly and I stress the word HIGHLY doubt the xbox 360 servers will be shutdown. The only thing is the xbox one and xbox 360 won't be compatible live wise. That's one reason they made the 360 design similar. Games will be still produced for the 360. So
no need to worry. The xbox 360 ain't going no where too soon. =)
