When will they announce the Call of Duty Collection?

With the upcoming release of the Masterchief collection I'm wondering if and when they will come out with the Call of Duty Collection.

I would love a call of duty release that had all of the previous COD maps, a mix of all the weapons, perks, killstreaks, ect.

$60 for 100+ maps and not worrying about an additional $40 map pack As an added bonus.

E3 is right in the middle of the NBA Finals

We could have a great discussion on this topic but there's no one here.

 

I knew no one came into the xbox one games forums but I thought I'd post it anyways. I was hoping to get a few discussions going so people might have a reason to come here more often. Are all the forumers stuck in the 360 section?

 

We know that idea is not going to happen, but it would be good. I am just hoping Treyarch come out with a great WWII game designed for the Xbone next year. Im kinda burnt on the halo jumping, laser firing, future war stuff.

 

I totally agree with the WW2 idea. It is overdue...I think the futuristic shooters are being overdone. They are going to be played out just like ww2 games were over done 6-10 years ago.

Why do you think they would pass on the easy $ that a collection would bring in? Is it because of the different studios?

Oh and why is your gamer score so low? I thought yours was higher.

 

I dont chase cheevos, most of my gamerscore is done by my son playing various games and single player stuff. Yeah, I dont think the multiple map stuff from older CoDs would work into one game, unless it was THAT devs maps ONLY. Dunno for sure.

 

I don't think that'll happen as long as they have yearly releases

 

Everytime you buy DLC its a reimaged version of a previous popular map!

I don't think we will see a collection like this for at least a few years, it would be interesting to see if all CoD titles were combined or they would release something more like a Modern Warfare trilogy collection. I don't think Infinity Ward and Treyarch
titles would be compatible because of the differences in bullet damage.

 

To be fair, I was starting to think I was the only one getting bored with the "boost" jumping and futuristic within CoD now, I preferred it back on CoD 4 and WaW where everything was simple, bolt action rifles, simple perks and killstreaks. Everything is
as you would imagine on a small battlefield, now everything's gone to dust, surely I'm not the only one who thinks this right?
