When will the UK get a OneGuide update?

As the title asks, can you advise when the UK XBox One users get an update so that we can use the OneGuide and all of the other features as advertised that we currently can't access? Anyone? Any information greatly appreciated.

Loving the June update

I'm in NI so get UK TV, the recent update is amazing - all the TV functionality finally makes sense... I hope they do a OneGuide for the republic. It's just a case linking up all the teresstial channels to OneGuide with appropiate Voice commands, you'd think
it's inevitable that it's coming.

Is this why Sky doesn't work as it should ? I spent 2 hours trying to sort this directly with xbox and they never mentioned this doesn't work once! rubbish.

 

Yes YinnyboyOne - there are several pages on the support for live TV on xbox.com that state that the OneGuide only works in the US at the moment. Sucks right?

We're working hard on global expansion of OneGuide, and it shouldn't be too long before many more people get to use it.

 

What do you call too long? As another day is too long in my eyes. Can we get a date or at least the month in which it will be released?

How do I get onto 'public' preview?

I (for one) would rather have an imperfect beta than nothing at all!

Just invited you John. The latest system update rolls out tonight for everyone but is mainly bug fixes. Only new additions are sound controls for snapped apps and kinect chat and a permanent system update button in system settings.

Got the new update already, having read some of the buzz around the TV integration in the preview I kind of hoped it would be included! Naïve or what?

 

You'll get a redeem code sent to your live account that allows you to download the preview registration app. When run it registers your console ID into the system so you can get the next system update. It can take up to a week to get your code but is usually
faster.
