When will the Offline System Update get an update?

Downloading the Xbox update on 8/28 caused my perfectly functioning Xbox to be unplayable. Giving me the System Error E200. So after exhausting all my options, I downloaded the offline system update thats on their support website. That OSU is not the current
Operating System, apparently, because I re-downloaded it on 8/31 and it still wont work. Showing a System Error E101.

Now, for anyone that wants to tell me I have pay to send it in for repairs: 1) thats never going to happen. Your update bricked my console. Your error. Good customer service takes care of this. 2) I have an Xbox One S that has not downloaded the new update
yet, it plays movies and games perfectly fine offline, and wont take the offline update either.

Yes, the flashdrive is big enough, properly format, and has the “$System Update” file on there. When I plug the flashdrive into either console, the offline update option becomes activated and lets me select it. But right after choosing it, it says “something
went wrong.”

So when is Microsoft going to provide customers the proper update?

Firsf OSU is the base os not.meant to be an updated one

If you are in the preview program then you cannot use the offline update as per the programs specifically mentions this

If you are having issues updating with the preview program its best to goto the regedit for help first

There is a quick.and easy solution but well depends on whrre you are in the program

Skip ahead its harder to get into back again

If you can login into the consoles without updating then remove the console.from the preview vis the preview app and then reboot this allows you to revert back to base ans rejoin

If you cant get tk the preview hub then you gotts do it with a windows 10 pc or phone vis the hub app

I appreciate the reply, but I have exhausted all of those options, and just as I experienced on the phone yesterday, we’re going in circles! I’m not getting the solution that I’m looking for! I am growing more and more frustrated and upset everytime.

Why can’t someone at this company just come out and say to me “hey sorry, users have been experiencing this issue with out latest update. It’s something we’re aware of, working on a fix for it, and it will be ready at such and such time.”

Is no one aware of this at HQ?! Is anything being done to fix it and satisfy customers?!

this will put you on the 10422.0 update.
