    When will the f2p without live gold update come?


    Its been 2 months xbox announced that they'll remove the paywall for free to play games. The online games I play are fortnite and warzone and you guys announced the news and now i am not sure if i should buy the live gold or not cause what if i bought it and it went waste.So can u guys atleast give us a date...!

    While the game is free to play you are still using the xbox live servers to play online and that requires a lot of funding to run.

    This question comes up a lot but i don't ever see F2P games being allowed to use xbox live without paying for the gold subscription.

    I think it's a F2P Korean type thing now or something. But MMOs on XBL (there aren't many) can be played without a gold subscription.

    it's f2p but if you want play online you will buy your xbox live gold.

    Remove the paywall of F2P games on Xbox One, if PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch can do this, then why not you.

    I don't think so, for being F2P, how will you keep to yourselves?

    There is something I don't understand, why do the f2P need Xbox Live Gold to play?

    If you’re referring to Halo infinite and other free to play games.
    Yes, that’s possible because live gold is not required for F2P games.
    Besides that Live Gold is a requirement
