When will the battle rifle/auto aim get fixed?

Hello, I recently purchased the Xbox One with hopes that most of the bugs had been ironed out... well I was dead wrong as far as the MCC goes.

The problems currently plaguing the Halo 4 playlist are the battle rifle, boltshot, and autoaim.

The battle rifle is extremely overpowered on its own and when paired with the autoaim it should be designated a power weapon. I am killed regularly by 2 to 3 bursts, rarely by the standard 4 that should be required. Here is the kicker: HALF OF THEM DON'T
EVEN HIT MY CHARACTER. I regularly watch the killcam to see that as long as they aim within 2 to 3 feet of my character they are landing shots. Very rarely is the reticle on my character when the shots are fired. This is insane. It is infuriating seeing
this EVERY SINGLE GAME. The only weapon that ever gets used is the battle rifle, 8 or 9 people start the game with it.

The next problem: the boltshot as a starting weapon. Why in the world would anyone think giving someone a shotgun for a starting weapon is a good idea? I have no idea why it hasn't been corrected yet, especially since it has been long enough that Halo
5 comes out next month. It needs to be removed as a starting weapon and become a map spawn or reduced to the effectiveness of a plasma pistol to where it only removes the shield.

Finally..... the auto aim. This has plagued the halo series since those *&$&*^%*^#*($(&$# at bungie decided to add it. The battle rifle is the worst culprit of all. Just today I got to enjoy a number of sniper shots where they were upwards of 4 feet from
my character landing one shot kills to the torso. WTF?

Right now, yes I am infuriated as I just had to deal with game after game after game of getting battle rifled, bolt shotted, and auto aimed to death.

Please, this needs to be in the next update and needs to be an urgent one, every single one (of the very few) people who actually talk on MCC xbox live agree with all these points.

The battle rifle needs to be removed as a starting weapon or made to be a 5 shot kill and the shots need to only damage when the reticle is directly on target (like any real firearm).

The bolt shot needs to be removed as a starting weapon, be made to only drop the shield, or be a map spawn weapon.

The auto aim needs to be eliminated....PERIOD....

This needs to be passed on to the 343 personnel so they can implement these necessary changes and ensure they are applied to Halo 5 so the game isn't plagued by these exact same problems at launch.

Auto-aim Question

You mean aim assist. The only auto aim in the game is used on sniper rifles only.

 

Will Quickscoping be back for MW3?

I think the problem was that the aim assist was ridiculous in MW2. Gimp the sniper rifles auto aim and i wouldn't mid it as much.

 

Hey there, Jackpot4! You can actually report this to 343 directly! Go ahead and post this up on the
Halo Waypoint forums. From there, you should be able to get insight on if there's ways to fix this, or a dev themselves may even come around and find it!

 

While that seems like something that would be good 343 seems to be like bungie was when managing their forums. They censor anything that isnt "rah! rah!" for the game.

For instance I posted a thread talking about how the new antagonist in Halo 5, spartan locke is going after the Chief and clearly in the trailers he wants to kill the Chief. I simply asked who else was excited to kill him and everyone lost their minds.
I was flamed and then jabbed back a little (as in called a few of them fanbois) and next thing I know I'm on a 7 day suspension.

I will post about this on there when this BS suspension is up but if they get this from Microsoft themselves they may just listen since they censor any critique from the game's players.

Hey, Jackpot4! Anything regarding how the game is built and suggestions towards that needs to go to 343 directly. It seems like this was more by design than a bug in the game, so they would be interested in how to make the gameplay better. Thanks for understanding.
