When will the Angry Birds Trilogy be made playable on the Xbox One?

I have recently purchased the Xbox 360 version of the Angry Birds Trilogy, hoping to be able to play it on my Xbox One console. I have been able to play other Xbox 360 games, so I assumed this one would be backwards compatible, but I was extremely disappointed to find that it is not. I implore Microsoft to simply make the game accessible to be played through backwards compatibility, or at the very least, make a port of the game available on the Microsoft store. We fans deserve to be able to play our favorite games on the Xbox One as the company promises with its emphasis on backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 titles. This is an incredibly frustrating issue to encounter Microsoft being selective with which games are backwards compatible.

to add to the above post, the games that were made BC needed the devs/publishers permission to do it. obviously rovio either did not give permission or something else.

Unfortunately the backwards compatibility program ended in 2021. Anything that's not compatible at this point, won't be. It would be up to the developers at this point to create one that will work on other consoles.

Currently Angry Birds Trilogy is not a backward compatible game; However, as soon as it will be an update regarding this it will be announced through our official websites and social media platforms to the public. Keep in mind though that it is also up to the game's developers/publishers to help make the game a backward compatible title.

Not for Xbla. There's a retail game, Angry Birds Trilogy. And there's also a bunch of Windows Phone and Windows 8 games (Angry Birds, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Star Wars).
