When will MS finally say that their Elite Controllers are made cheaply

As the title says, when will Microsoft finally come out and say that their Elite Controllers are made with terrible and cheap materials? The build quality on these things is horrendous. Every single person I know, myself included, has had to have their Elite
Controller replaced under warranty, but you know what that doesn't help? When they break again after they send you a new one.

I'm now sitting here with a $190 paperweight because the buttons fall off and the bumper supports have snapped. It's out of warranty, because apparently 90 day warranties are a thing!

Bravo MS for scamming everyone.

The X1 controllers are complete garbage. Cheaply made. They suck. The original 360 controllers are light years ahead.

Mad Catz equipment is garbage. Not just their controllers but everything they make. Cheaply adn shoddily put together, will break for sure given a little time.

 

Bravo to those of us who were smart enough not to buy one. My two Day 23 standard controllers are still working fine. With that said... $190 is nothing IMO. A cheap pair of shoes cost more.

 

ELITE CONTROLLERS ARE SCAMS, the d pad especially is completely fake like you could get a better one from CHINA.

DO not buy. They must of made great profits off scamming their customers for this. Sticking with all normal parts from now on.

Didn't even bother getting mine replaced. I used that controller literally a handful of times.

 

under the rights of australian and nz consumer legislation which microsoft can NOT avoid we get a 12 month warranty over here regardless of what microsoft says. the law is above any contract and lol microsoft has to fork out the money when replacing faulty
controllers. ive had my turtle beach 500x replaced 3x with a brand new pair of turtle beach 500x headsets due to it cracking and not built durable enough.

 

IIf only US law was a strict as australia and nz law regarding consumer products. microsoft must be having fun loosing money for dishing out free replacement controllers for australian and nz customers who have had faulty controllers under what we enjoy
a longer warranty courtesy of our governments.

 

And yet there are those of us that have had Elite controllers pretty much since they went on sale and haven't had any issues. Not saying you or anyone else is lying about this, just that it may not be as widespread an issue as you believe. If it really
was Microsoft likely would have been forced to admit it by now (like with the red ring issues on the 360).
