When will Microsoft ship xbox one x scopio edition before or after 11/7 please help

pre-order Xbox One X Scorpio edition from Microsoft Store

Hello everyone, i pre-ordered the xbox one x scorpio edition in August. I just went on the microsoft online store, and it says pre-orders shipping by 11/30. Does anyone know why they are shipping out late? I thought we were going to get it on launch day?

I have a 2x xbox one X Scorpio editions on pre order and now paid for since the 22/08/2017. I just had a chat with online customer support that it wont ship until tomorrow being the day of the release. If that is the case then I wont
see the Xbox for a numbers of days after this.

I am just very disappointed that I wont be able to receive it on day one which I thought would. Otherwise i would have made the purchase in a physical store.

This is listed in the FAQ section of the website.

It should say ' your product wont ship until the day of launch'..

Depends when you ordered it probably.

What usually happens is that the couriers pick up all the consoles from Microsoft just before or over the weekend,then send them to the local delivery centre who hold them until the 7th when they'll be sent out for delivery.

I know some people here in the U.K. already have their shipping/delivery emails meaning their consoles have been picked up by the delivery firm already ready for delivery on 7/11.

I got my xbox one from Microsoft delivered at 8:30am on release day.

 

It also depends on the courier AND which country you live. Besides they could deliver at ANY TIME of the day, at 7am in the morning, at 2 or 4 in the afternoon. And if you're not home or don't answer the door, and most people have school or work, they leave
a card in the mailbox cause it's signature required, and then you need to lol..... chase up after your delivery. Why would I do that when I can just pre-order, and pick up at any time I find convenient, from my retail store, without worrying about courier
delivery. Definitely saves the hassle. Just because it works well for you daft doesn't mean it works well for others, regarding delivery. We all don't live right next door to Microsoft. But some people can be that lucky. Besides the NZ$749 and AU$649 we pay
over here for it, isn't a price tag to faint about. US$499 is just as bad since countries over here have a GST system too. It's Microsoft who came up with those RRP prices.

 

I was told by MS chat it will be dispatched on the 7th?

 

When did I say I lived near to Microsoft or that it "works well for me" whatever that means ?

The nearest Microsoft distribution centre is about 500 miles from where I live & has nothing at all to do with the op's question

A lot of people work & the shops are shut when they finish work so ordering online is easier & more convenient.

When you get older you'll find these things out.

It's alright for little school kids like you as school finishes before the shops shut.

 

I use delivery service because my village is rural remote. If I lived in a town or city, I'd probably preordered to collect.

Exactly,some people don't live near big towns or cities so ordering online is the best option.

yes my CC was just charged this morning, so I'm sure it's on it's way! Just a heads up. I think delivery will require a signature so be home or make sure someone else be home, to sign for it.
