    When will Microsoft fix this??

I would like to know when Microsoft will fix the audio issue with the Xbox One console(s). Currently, when you plug a headset into the jack on the Xbox One Controller, it does not disable/mute the HDMI audio output to the TV on the Xbox One. With this set
up, you plug a headset into the controller and the audio continues to come out of the TV and also comes out of the headset. I know other consoles and setups that do disable the HDMI audio output when a headset is connected. When does Microsoft plan on fixing
this? This has been an issue as far as I am aware since the console was released. I know that the PS4 console automatically disables/mutes the HDMI audio output when a headset is connected, is Microsoft incapable of fixing this? I would also like to point
out that when I say fix, I mean at least make it an option in the sound settings to automatically disable the HDMI output when a headset is connected. I am aware that maybe some users would like the audio to continue coming out of their TV but I do not. I
know many, many, other users also do not like being able to do this as it creates extra steps (turn volume down/mute TV) to accomplish this currently, when it seems it would be fairly easy to make it an available option in the settings menu.

If this has already been changed/implemented can you advise how to change this setting as I am not able to find it as an available option.

I really hope that Microsoft can fix this as it is fairly annoying.

P.S. I chose the Xbox on Consoles Category as I was unsure of a better category for this question, so, I hope that I am posting this in the correct location.

    :)

    When will Microsoft fix this??

It's not really an issue. All you have to do is turn the volume down on the TV.
I did put in the post that I realize this is an "option", turning the volume down on the TV, but, it does not resolve the problem. For some people, simply turning the volume down on the TV (or muting it) may not be an "issue", but for others, like myself,
it is an issue. Maybe I would have been better off to call this a "feature" that Xbox doesn't have but other major consoles do? The TV that I have this particular Xbox One connected to, it is not easy to just turn the volume down OR mute it. Sorry, I cannot
upvote your reply as this same response is listed on multiple forums across the internet, and users like myself, have said this is not a viable solution. So, thanks for the reply, but, it's not a very good reply.
