When will disabling cross play for Call of Duty Warzone be allowed for Xbox?

I completely share your pain but this is entirely in the hands of the game developers themselves: Sea of Thieves introduced a matchmaking preference (only a preference) about 6-9 months back and it's worked really well. It took longer to develop than originally
expected but the results were great. Hopefully other developers will take lessons from it and achieve the same

stop painting us PC players, i see lots of console players exploiting, i play on pc with a controller, but players on xbox and ps4 are using adapters to use keyboard and mouse.

blame activision for releasing it without anticheat that most competitive games have on pc.

i have played quite a lot on PC and still not seen a PC cheater.

Also console users that use controller have aim assist, and console players also use aim dots.

Crossplay is something you will have to get used too, xbox is now a service not just the console and as we move forward more and more games will be cross play and now most xbox games that are available on pc are now available on steam there will be more
of a player base.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like Activision or Infinity Ward have even looked into this issue so far, but I'm hoping they allow it some time soon as well. It looks like there's a way for PS4 players to disable it but it's more of a glitch than an actual
option, so maybe at least somebody on Xbox will be able to find a way around the issue until the developers find a solution.

Oh I didn't know, it must have changed. I saw several people using this option around the launch of Warzone, and even if the matchmaking was way longer, they've been able to play.

It's sad it's impossible to disable crossplay though, not everyone wants to play with pc gamers, specially if there's cheaters among them.

It looks like the PS4 version has an option to disable crossplay, but unfortunately, for an unknow reason, it is not the case on Xbox One.

However, you can disable cross play through the Xbox One's settings. You need to go to Settings > Account > Privacy and online safety > Xbox Live privacy > View details and customize > Communications and multiplayer then block the option "You can play with
people outside of Xbox Live".

But notice games will be longer to be found, and crossplay will be disabled for pretty much every games.
