WHen using the app you cant get game invites on xbox or the app

I was hoping there would be a soulution

I cant send game invites from the xbox app but all my friends can? it worked when i was at work but not from home so something must be wrong.

I can't join friends in game either without an invite.

i've reinstalled windows, reinstalled xbox app, installed a new network card, still having the same problem
example i can send invites (sea of thieves) just before ive set sails from the game., But i can't send invites from the xbox app, or join friends from the app if you understand what i mean

i cant se join icon anywhere on my friends profiles. also i cant send invites to anyone (gameinvites) from the app. i need to send from the game ( sea of thieves) but when i set sails i cant send invites anymore.

also i cant join groups. i can find groups etc etc but as soon as i check the "im intrested" it appears like a grey icon and nothing happens

 

Xbox APP for PC not getting any notifications/invites

So I'm trying to play the Sea of Thieves Beta on my PC, and I'm on the looking for group section for the game. I click the "I'm Interested" button for multiple groups, and eventually I get accepted into some of them. I never receive any activity alerts or
notifications on my PC app. I'm not getting game invites, party invites, or anything else. I tried turning my xbox on at the same time that im using the app on my computer, and when i get accepted into these groups, the invites just pop up on my xbox instead
of my PC. Whether my xbox is turned on, or off, it doesn't matter. None of the invites are going through to my PC xbox app, and it's getting really annoying. So far, im unable to group up with anyone while playing on my computer. I checked the notifications
settings tab on my xbox app, and everything is activated, so that's not the problem. Can't find anything on google. In fact, most of the websites I've visited seem to have my problem, except in reverse. I cant fix it. pls halp

There are several reasons as to why you can't get game invites using your Xbox app. In some cases, this is due to not updating the app on your Windows 10 computer. Can you tell us when did you notice the issue? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you tried
so far?

The app is updated and I do get party invites I just do not get game invites, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling still doesn't work

 

Thank you for the information. Since you're receiving party invites but not game invites, there's a possibility that you're encountering a network issue. If you're using an Xbox One, can you check the NAT type status by going to
Settings > All Settings > Network > Network Settings > Current Network Status. Also, can you check if you will be able to receive games invites after rebooting your console or your computer? To reboot your console, you may refer to this
