    when turning x box on making funny noise then turning off


    I bought my son an xbox end of august but now when i turn it on it makes a funny noise and then turns off. should i try and contact xbox direct or return to argos where i got it from which may be difficult due to their shops being closed.

    It makes the noise when I push the eject button, when I turn it on and when I turn it off sometimes it would do it when I'm playing a game or if I turn the console off it makes the noise again 5 minutes later.

    I had a simliar issue with my original Xbox One X. Was silent for a few months and then starting making funny noises. Sent it back to repair and when got it back it was silent agian. And now a few later again its starting making the same noises. I just
    ignore the sounds now and turn the TV up louder.

    Mine makes a faint ticking noise. I think it's just he fan. If your worried about saving energy, turn on energy saving mode to turn your box completely off.

    When i turn on my x box 1s it will just come up with a black screen and make a lot of ticking noises for about 5 mins. it is so making a slite ringing noise as well.

    But i am having some trouble, so when i turn off the x box and unplug and re plug then wait the 30 seconds i will hold the eject button and the sync button then click the x box button witch will turn on the x box then i continue to hold the 2 buttons for around 20 seconds but nothing will happen and i do not hear any noises?

    i have tried this process 3 times but with no luck.

    Do you have any suggestions
