    When sending the XBOX 360 in for repair or exchange do you send the power cord or just the console. The power cord has a red light also.

    Questions about the Advanced Exchange

    Get the exchange, for sending in your console for repair can take some time (Weeks even) and if Xbox repair centers are anything like they were back in 2002.

    You're likely to get back a console with more problems than it left with.

    And they don't extend your warranty by those day's/weeks that your system was out for repair. So your actually loosing warranted time by sending in for repairs as well.

    So the best way to go is via the exchange services IMO.

    Unless they give you any other information that states to send the power cord, you just send in the console.

    If the Power Supply has a red light on it, it could an issue with the power supply then. Have you tried it with another xbox?? if it would be possible to do it would be excellent, bcs if with another console it doesn't shows the red light it means it was
    just an issue with the console but if there is still a red light with another console that you know, works, then a different order has to be created for the power supply

    My original Xbox One X had a faulty fan and made a strange buzzing sound in the back right corner. Following advice from Xbox Support I was told to either exchange the console or send in for repair. I exchanged the console at the retailer and the new one
    is almost silent and I think could even be quieter than the Xbox One. My advice would be to speak to Xbox Support and either exchange with retailer or send in for repair.

    Please try out the no power solution guide here. If you've tried all of the options then unfortunately, you will need to exchange
    it with the retailer that sold it to you. If you can't do that then you'll need to send it into Microsoft for repair, since there's no official service center in Veitnam, you would need to send it to the country where the Xbox 360 was actually purchased to
    be repaired (and someone with a US address as well so they can send it back to that address).
