    When selecting a video on netflix it goes back to main screen


    not sure if anyone else is having the same issues with Netflix on 360. I'm able to watch on other devices. When I start a video it loads to 6% then goes back to he profile screen. This happens each time and with every video.

    For those with Netflix Video Quality Issues, please try this and report your findings.

    How did you guys get Netflix working on the Xbox One? I cannot get it to play video. Netflix app launches and logs in, then goes to main page. I select any title there and I get the percentage buffering display, which goes to about 40%, then goes back
    to the main screen ( no video plays at all ).

    Netflix support isn't useful here as they don't have a clue nor do they seem to care that they don't have a clue.

    Here's what I did. If I missed a step or a setting, please let me know what it is?

    1) Unbox the new X1, plugin and setup on my network

    2) log into Xbox Live

    3) download/install Netflix app

    4) launch the netflix app and login to Netflix

    5) launch a move

    ...

    I was completely unable to get Netflix to work on my X1. It will launch, login and display the main front page. Select any title, it goes to around 40% then flashes back to the main screen, no video stream at all.

    How the hell did you all get netflix to work at all on the X1. If you did something additional to the steps below, please let me know what you did?

    1) unbox X1

    2) plug in and setup the X1 on the network

    3) login to Xbox Live

    4) download/install Netflix app

    5) launch netflix app

    6) login

    7) play movies

    ???

    I am having this problem too. Any luck? Mine only happens with R rated shows. OITNB.

    Mine just fixed itself after a day or two so unfortunately I can't really be any help. I did delete a second profile for children on my account so maybe go with that?

    Xbox Series X - Black screen while sound is still playing

    I have the same problem. It's happened quite a few times.

    Series X and Lg CX.

    Watching Netflix, the screen goes black. I still see the Netflix interface and if I back out of the video, I get back to the Netflix selection screen. Pressing the home button takes me back to the Xbox dash board. Going back into the video, it plays for 2 seconds, and then black screen again. At first I thought it was Dolby Vision, so I disabled that, and still black screen. Changed it from 120hz to 60hz, black screen. I ended up closing the Netflix app from the Xbox Dashboard and it seems to be working fine now.

    I'm pretty tech savvy, so I can troubleshoot, but for someone that isn't, this is horrible. Especially after paying money for this thing. It should just "work"
