When plug in headset into Xbox one controller Headset is not reginized

When I plug both of my headsets my Xbox One S dose not do anything My batteries were low so I changed them but still nothing. I would really like to know why my headset is not recognized.

Hey there Prince!

Sorry to hear that you're afflicted with this problem.

I know it's not what anyone likes to hear, however Microsoft and Xbox have deemed this a known issue that they are in the process of working on internally at the moment.

They have however, isolated this as being a problem usually occurring when working with third party headsets.

Though, there is a workaround that has been working for some. I would say that you try maybe purchasing a
headset adapter
to try and get around this problem, otherwise you might have to wait for Microsoft and Xbox to fix this problem in a future update.

are the connections 3.5mm jacks? if you can, try another controller as it may be your connection point on the controller thats the issue.

First try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

If that doesn't work test with a different controller.

If you are plugging directly to the controller others have said that the adapter resolved the issue.
