    Hi everyone,

    I like to multitask, that is why when I stream my favorite TV series on a split window, I simultaneously like to play the daily challenges of Microsoft Solitaire Collection and/ or daily challenges of Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzles.

    When playing the later while streaming, my volume slowly starts making cracking noises and after a while the pc volume drivers suddenly go missing. After that I would have to start the troubleshoot wizard to go through the process of reinstalling the volume
    drivers. This happens every time I try to play Microsoft Daily Puzzles.

    Are you guys aware of this problem, does it only happen to me?

    I have a DELL Inspiron 15 from the 5000 series, Intel - core i7- 5500CPU @ 2.40 GHZ

    RAM 6.00 GB

    64 bit operating system

    1TB memory

    Can you provide a permanent fix for this problem, or do you have recommendations of what to do to find a long-term solution?

    TV volume & power on/off control w/ Xbox One Media Remote (No Kinect, No Cable)

    I would like to use my Xbox One Media Remote to control my TV volume (and to power on/off my TV) but I don't have Kinect and my TV isn't plugged into cable or anything. Basically I just want to use my TV for playing games, streaming Netflix, and watching
    movies. If I could get my Xbox One Media Remote to control my TV power on/off and the volume then that would be great for movies and Netflix (it's also why I bought the remote in the first place, seeing as how it has volume up/down buttons on it I figured
    it could). Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

    Any way to change the volume on a Snapped TV window? (or increase volume in the main working window?)

    Is there any way to separately control the volume of the main window, while you have Live TV snapped in a separate window, and vice-versa?

    There are many times when I am working on the main window streaming something, but just want a low-volume (or muted) snapped live TV on the side... any way to control the volumes on each side separately? thanks

    audio not working on TV display

    when I updated the driver it seemed to just switch to the TVs audio device "intel(R)display" or something like that, the driver the TV was first on, ive just restarted it, and when I do, its connected and I have access to the volume, but no matter what I fiddle with no audio comes out, I even tried testing the audio itself and all I get is "failed to play test tone"
    yes it is my first time, and yes ive only used 1 HDMI cable, was I supposed to use multiple?

    Followed all these instructions and all drivers are up to date. Reinstalled the Xbox app from the link you provided but the TV/volume remote functionality is still not there. The only control option available is the Xbox controller. Where did the TV and

    The volume always works when i’m using my headset but when like if the volume isn’t working without it and i use my headset i can hear it through the headset but no the TV. I’ve still be playing gta for a bit now but the only thing that works is the game volume for some reason and all the other volume doesn’t work. Any other suggestions?

    That did not seem to work, all it did was stop the picture from the TV, the sound still stays on :/

    Sorry to hear it. If you've just recently finished watching TV then try highlighting the app from the Home page, press the Start button and select Quit.
