I'm sorry you're having these issues, skyyman 68. If you're still experiencing this, try logging into www.xbox.com. If you cannot login to www.xbox.com successfully I suggest contacting our support teams.

If you can log into the website but are unable to log into the app, I suggest trying to update to the latest version of the beta app, which we just released a short while ago today.

 

Hiya, i did what someone said about typing services, scrolling to the 3 windows xbox at the bottom. changing them to start and automatic. I still had a problem. One page comes up and when you close it, the page underneath comes up with error still.

Then i noticed that the window it comes up with when you click on xbox app had writing on it at the bottom. I tried to move window up to see but couldnt. I had to set taskbar to auto-hide. Then i could see the words "Let's Play".

I clicked on that and,

ALL FIXED NOW!!! Phew.....

 

I logged into Xbox.com | Official but it still won't sign me in! Plus, when I search for the error "0x40b," it finds nothing. Please help!

Be sure to try the other steps DamienLogos provided above including the download of the beta app

 

I am having the sam issue. I can log my daughter in to live.xbox.com, but I get an error when I try to login to the app, which then prevents minecraft from loading.

 

FusionHealer. What version of the app are you using? I would suggest using the beta app to see if this issue persists. Also, what error message are you seeing?

I have encountered this problem (0x405) on my laptop with Win10. I get the error when I try to connect to MS Mahjong/Jigsaw and if I try to download from the shop. Trying to update the programs from the shop is not an option as it indicates the programs
are installed. Are you therefore suggesting that they be uninstalled and then downloaded. (I tried that with NEWS - removing was easy but I keep getting the error message that I am not connected and therefore have not been able to reload. Any ideas?

DamienLogos, the problem was not limited to Mahjong/Jigsaw but extended to the Store, which is not game. The problem seems to be XBOX failing to recognise my internet connection, even turning the connection signal to appear as not connected when I am on
broadband - even though I am connected and can connect to other programs. (Wifi shows I am connected - I can access Mahjong but at the Store when I select an app it comes up with a message "try again later something happened on our end" So I am not sure whether
your reply responds. I record the issue in case someone else has a similar problem and a solution. I will also go to the suggested forum.

 

Same problem. Can't play anything with xbox like Minecraft.

 

AloofConch207, just to clarify, are you stating that when you visit the Windows Store (not the Xbox Store in the Xbox app) you are unable to download anything?
