When MS make it so developers port there app and games to the one.

Would respark intrest to past XBL moble game makers to make LIVEable games? And it will make new relases cycle with the developers? Instead trying make ready same time with IOS and ANDRIOD. They want to be ready for all three MS platfroms? Whar you think

I know that you are upset that the WWE app hasn't been fixed by MS yet. You need to remember that MS did not create this app, they do not own the app; just like when a game is made, it's created and owned by the developers/publishers. In this case, it's
WWE. For whatever reason WWE's app isn't working on Xbox and MS is trying to fix an issue caused by another company's service. Be patient while they work to make things right for you.

 

Xbox One Backwards Compiatabilty? Which Games?

The decision for a game to be BC is up to the individual developers right? I wonder now since MS started selling the xbox 360 games on the xbox one store if that will drive the developers to port the games over.

I think I see what you mean.

There's a couple of problems.

The XBox ONE architecture is supposed to be so different than the 360 achitecture that we can't have "Backwards Compatibility".

Yet... they just released "Pinball FX 2" on the ONE and let you port your existing 360 tables onto the ONE if you'd bought them.

I suspect MS were hoping that after a while we'd forget that the XBox ONE isn't supposed to be able to run last gen games so that it could start introducing... and charging... for last gen games.

That being said when it comes to cross platform stuff... say "Magic the Gathering: 2015" which is available on PC, iOS, Android (i think it's available on Android) and soon to be the ONE...

Well MS have stated on numerous occaisions that they don't do "Cross Platform" so that's unfortunately not going to happen.

These exist seperately so that people will buy a game twice to get more achievements. Once on the XBox and again on Windows.

 

If people DO NOT want the games availible now.... Why would a Next gen copy be different?

If you create a decent product, people will pay........ Achievements have NOTHING to to do with the lack of new IP's....

If you said selling more copies of the same game I would agree.... People DO NOT pay for games for achievements.

With DX12 it should be very easy for developers to port Win 8 apps/games over to the Xbox One. So I am guessing Dakrk is asking do you think we will see more mobile games come to Xbox One when DX12 is released?
