When logging in, it sends confirmation email to my old email

The only thing I suggest, if you haven't already done so, is to try using another browser or clearing the cache and history of the one you're using to ensure that the issue isn't due to browser cache.

This is ridiculous. I can't log in for.. whatever reason, they want to send me a code. Fine use my email. Nope we need you to have some other place we can send you the code. Fine I'll add a different email. Great! We'll send the code to the new email! Here's
the code! Wait you can't use the code, you need to have your new email confirmed with your old email, you know the one we won't send you the code to because it's not good enough for whatever reason, but it is good enough to confirm a new one! Fine! Confirm
my new email! Great we'll send you info on confirming to your old email! Only.... I'm still.. waiting.. no.. new.. messages.. on old email about getting the new email confirmed. So I'm totally locked out of signing onto my 360 at the moment. Good work Microsoft!

Update: I found an old laptop that was still logged into the main account with the old, removed email address. Sea of Thieves launches without issue, pretty much confirming something is wrong with the email swap.

However, it now won't let me re-add the old email address, saying "You can't add a school or work email". Any advice?

Edit: One more thing. When I try to log into the Microsoft store, it offers two accounts, both with the same (my personal) email address. The first one gives me the error "We encountered an error. Please try signing in again later." while also offering to email a code to the email address that I removed. The other logs in successfully, but the game still won't launch.

Let me explain again, just to clarify the problem. When I signed up for Xbox Live It asked me for my email, and a few other bits of information. It sent me an email to that email asking me to confirm I wasn't using a random persons email. I delete it and
now I cannot log into xbox live via my PC. I know it is the correct email. It is one of those auto-send ones. It also means I don't ge any emails from xbox as well. If you can re-send that email or tell me how to connect my email to my xbox account that wuld
be grately appreciated, Thanks.

When I log in to the Minecraft website with my current Microsoft account, it says I don't own Minecraft. I do have the confirmation email about the migration, and the confirmation email from when I transferred my Microsoft account.
