When is there going to be a fix for UHD/HDR/4k video playback for Netflix and Prime video?...

I'm having similar issue with HDR content especially through 4K UHD Blu-ray playback. There seems to be no fix for past 10 months. This is very poor of Microsoft to ignore. Now that Xbox One X is out, it too have HDR issues with 4K UHD player & Netflix app.

I can verify this issue...Netflix UHD does not work on Xbox One S. I have a Vizio M55-D0 with the latest firmware enabling HD10 support. My TV is now recognized by the One S video settings as 4K HDR capable. I am able to enable HDR support and it works beautifully
with the Blu-Ray app (Mad Max 4K Blu Ray playing 4K, 24fps, HDR as verified by the Vizio settings app). However when I start Netflix, the screen flashes, colors mute, and video fails to switch to HDR or 24fps. Netflix app is clearly broken right now for HDR.
If I switch HDR off on the One S, Netflix app is fine, plays 4K correctly, colors are fine obviously no HDR.

Same problem on Hisense M7000. UHD Blu Ray playback is stunning but Netflix HDR is dull, brightness dims as soon as you play it.

Please get this fixed asap as it renders HDR netflix useless for me.

Amazon Prime Video online users approximate Prime Video will chew through 900MB per hour for SD playback, 2GB per hour for HD playback, and around 5.8GB per hour of UHD content. So
if you are watching content close to almost 4K quality it could correlate to the data you are using so quickly in a weeks time. This would apply to most video streaming services.

If you have background downloads on as well your Xbox will be downloading updates when not operating or in the background when on. This could be what's also adding to the data usage.
This can be changed in the system settings if you have a data cap you are worried about.

Same for me with LG C6V. Turning off HDR fix it for Netflix/Prime, but UHD BR still washed out.
