When is the year over after the 3 time Home Xbox limit?

I was moving my account place to place and now I want to really make my Xbox at my current location my Home Xbox but it still says that I can only do it 3 times a year, it's a new year now so I don't know when I can actually make it my Home Xbox. It sucks
not being able to play my own games that I payed for , especially now since I have no wifi at the moment. Is there a way I can make this Xbox my home one a last time?

Home Console Limit Reset

So I read that the home console switching is limited to 3 times during a one year period. im assuming this resets after said one year period is over. my question is, when does this one year period end? does it end 1 year from setting a home console for the
first time, or does it end at the actual new year, as in January 1st?

Hello. My name is Luke Calabrese, Owner of account . My home Xbox account has ran out of gold, and i have gold purchased on another. When trying to switch Home Xboxes it states "May only change Home xbox 3 times a year" But its been over a
year since i first changed it.

I believe it resets after a year from the first time you used it.

No,you have to wait a year after the 3rd time you use it.

Basically, the system looks back in the past 365 days - if you've made three changes in that time, you aren't allowed to make another. One change will become free 365 days after you made the first of the three changes... all three will be free 365 days
after your latest change (assuming you don't make any new changes as they become free).

The sharing policy is rife with abuse of the system. Most of which is unintentional.

The 3 switch limit was put in place to deter people from using the system more than once or twice in households with multiple Xbox Ones.

The problem is that the notification system in place doesn't express the severity that the user will essentially be locked out of their Xbox One for 1 year if they exceed the number of times allotted.

What many are doing is bringing their Xbox One to a friends house, changing the home status and then changing it back when they return home. The next time they go and change it at a friends house, they will discover that when they try and re-establish the
console to a home console when they return home they won't be able to do anything for a year.

If anything the number of times you can switch should be 4 times. because after 3 times, you've essentially signed over your Xbox One and digital game library to your friend.
