    When is Microsoft going to fix the Headset always muted widespread problems?


    This is my second Xbox one with the same problem. The Mute icon beside the battery icon is always illuminated. It is always muted. I took it to Microsoft store they couldn't figure out how to fix the issue, then replaced the console because it was still
    under warrantee. Did all the common steps, reset the console, checked all the preferences and settings, plugged headset into another device and it works fine there. I even purchased a new headset and still muted.

    Microsoft please fix the issue, if you search this issue it is extremely widespread. I am unsure if the issue occurred just after update. I have no idea?

    This problem is widespread and I believe it is a problem with Microsoft. After doing some research, the only solution that appears to work is by having a stereo headset adapter such as this
    one    .

    I personally haven't had any problems with headsets, it is just luck of the draw. It really sucks.
