    When is Microsoft going to acknowledge that this "new experience" is buggy and needs ...


    Look at all the posts on tech issues since the update... I myself have had video streaming issues with the Vudu and Amazon Video apps since the update with no solution that works to be found anywhere. Very frustrating and makes me wonder if they truly want
    me as a customer or do I need to switch to a PS4..

    This is true, it does deserve attention and it deserves to be answered by an official representative from Microsoft.

    When answered please acknowledge that there is a problem.

    Provide details as to what causes the problem and that you are working on fixing it.

    Why? Because we pay for this service.

    [/quote] You should buy it still, it really is a different experience then console version plus it's super cheap. You can get a digital copy for $30 or $20 now, don't know about the retail versions though.

    When will they admit it ? I would guess never...

    Do they truly want you as a customer ? Yes...

    Should you switch to PS4 ? That's a call only you can make...

    Personally , I have had an Xbox one since day one , me and the boy are on it every single day. Only issue was the kinect seamed hard of hearing this last update...

    Well as for me and my boy(who's 15, not sure about yours) he really wants an Xbox one of his own(he has had a 360 for awhile) while we use the Xbone as our living room game player and Netflix/vudu/amazon video streamer. It's just hurting the enthusiasm
    that I DID have about getting my son an xbone. And these issues that have come up are only present since the update. All I can do is hope they fix the *** thing.

    Hi Corbenden,

    I can understand your frustration -- I honestly do; as a gamer myself I hate when things don't work right; however, something important to note is that MS is not responsible for the software development of the individual apps which are installed on your
    console. Apps such as Amazon & Netflix are maintained by their respective companies.

    Thats not to let MS off with a free pass; I just wanted to mention it because while I'm sure MS wants everything to work perfectly some of it is truly out of their control.

    If you are having specific errors with any one app I would do the following:

    1) Start by uninstalling & reinstalling. I know; seems like an odd place to start but its pretty quick, easy & painless and actually did resolve a Netflix & NFL app issue I had after updating to the new dashboard after countless hours spent trying to actually
    troubleshoot the problem.

    2) Provide feedback to the companies whose app is not working appropriately. All of them have social media presences and email addresses to allow consumers to contact them. I don't expect one person to cause a huge shift in their focus but if enough people
    complain I imagine it would get noticed.

    3) Provide feedback about the issue directly to MS from your console. There is the built in provide feedback option on your console which submits your details plus system information that can be helpful to the support staff for tracking down specific issues
    and ultimately getting them resolved.

    On your controller simply hold down the Xbox button until the screen shows for shutting down the console / turning off the controller -- there will be an option there that says "Submit Feedback" you can choose this option and it will give you the opportunity
    to provide your feedback and submit it directly to MS.

    @munkyxtc I though the "Submit Feedback" option on the shut down screen was only available to consoles enrolled in the preview program.

  9. The submit feedback button is only available to those in the preview program, try uninstalling the app and restart the console see if that helps.

  10. Its report a problem button only preview members have it as already stated some apps have updates so it is quicker to uninstall/install, also its nearly always down to those who provide the app.

    So... Every time they do an update... And stuff breaks... It's our responsibility to contact "other" developers to tell them things don't work? Where is this QA dept of MS? Do they not police their own updates? The new experience runs terrible and all my
    achievement unlocking shows a day ahead in game hubs verses the actual achievement app or whatever it's called now. So I should contact EA for battlefront Bethesada for Fallout 4 Stage 2 Studios for lifeless planet and Deco Digital for Pneuma because "their"
    games are all bugged since the 12/14 update?

    Yes i've noticed the amazon app has become unusable on xbox one due to terrible streaming quality. Other streaming services like netfix, nowtv and youtube work fine.

    Don't know who's to blame but it needs fixing ASAP.

    isp, they have a not so known issue with xbox's that started around the same time as the last update. So far only thing to fix it is to set up a manual ip address on your xbox and open the 7 xbox one ports.

  15. Only preview members can report any issues using their console. The OPs issue as been reported by many in the preview program just waiting for a fix or Amazon sorting their App out.
