When in August do you think?

I have been in serious withdraws ever since I got my xbox one. The thing that makes me worry is that they didnt put a specific date. Usually means August is their goal, but cant commit to when. I have had times where a game company says August, then everyone
is excited for August 1st, then hoping for August 10th, then annoyed at August 15th, then angry at August 30th, and it finally releases on October 12th. Hope this isnt the case, minecraft is my zen relaxation time, without it, I have been a mess. PS, really
want them to hurry up and put in more mechanical stuff like hopper/dropper and daylight sensor.

When did you register? Per the fine print, if you registered before August 24, the codes would have been sent on or around August 29. But if you registered between August 21 and September 2, codes will go out around the 6th.

 

Well, according to
this Tweet, they seem pretty confident about finishing it up and it should be ready to roll sometime in August. As for what day specifically... I have no idea. I'd guess mid-August.

 

It'd be a smart move to release it early August, so the School kids on their holidays have a decent amount of time to play it... and I don't know how much longer I can wait. .. I can't even play the 360 version any more, because I just think "what's the
point, when the XB1 versions out next month".

I just turned the game back on the xbox 360 getting it set up for the one. I cant wait. hopefully i dont burn myself out before it comes out again

 

I'm the same mate. Just started playing it again because I couldn't wait.

New achievements should keep Me playing though.

 

My 360 is gone ,and minecraft hasn't gotten here for the One ! How did this happen ???

 

Microsoft Germany sent an E-Mail to some news sides. Microsoft sayd "highlits of the week: Minecraft Xbox One Edition Release Date: 04 august" this information is from microsoft but I don't know that the information is right

 

That would be awesome if true.

 

Friend says date listed in the system as his GS is the 19th. Wouldn't say that's 100%, but that's your best bet.

 

I read an article yesterday stating it may be delayed till September.

 

I seen the date posted on gamestop.com its says that it will be released on monday augest 19 at 9 am may not be the accurate but I will say Is the best thing we can go by.

 

^^ I wouldn't listen to anything a retailer says when it comes to a release date until we have actual confirmation from 4J and/or MS.
