  1. When I turn on the screen is dim

When I first turn on my xbox the screen is dim like when you're playing and leave the room and come back turning off and in seems to fix it but obviously this is not a permanent fix, I'm also having the kinect issue's that seem to be affecting many others,
think they might be connected, any help??

    :)

    Hey Kosher King,

Sorry to hear this issue keeps coming back up! One thing I would recommend trying is pressing and holding the power button on your Xbox One console until it fully powers down, and then unplug the power from the back and let it sit for 5 minutes. After the
time goes by, plug in and power back on. Trying other HDMI cables will also help narrow the issue down.

If the behavior continues, the next step will be to
Reset the Xbox One to Factory Defaults
. Keep in mind that this will uninstall all games and apps from your console, but your game saves will be untouched as long as you have connected your console online so they can sync to the cloud.

If the issue still occurs, we recommend setting up a repair for your Xbox One console through the
Online Service Center. We certainly understand that a repair is not ideal, but if the issue persists after restoring the console to factory defaults, a repair will be the best route to take.

Please keep us updated with how it goes!

Have you attempted a hard shutdown since this has began? Hold you power button for 8 seconds until the console fully shuts down, wait 30 seconds, and power the console back on.

I am having the same problem along with a bunch of other people. So far it seems to go away when I restart it. The hard shutdown and/or unplugging doesnt help mine. Like everyone else, mine started after the last patch.
