When I turn on my Xbox the light comes on then it turns right back off?

When I turn on my Xbox it lights up makes the sound that it's coming on and then turns right back off. Wondering if there's something wrong with the Xbox?

Bad Power brick?

I was playing MGSV last night and my xbox suddenly shut down. When I couldn't turn it back on I checked the power brick and there was no light. if I unplug then plug it back in the light comes on, turns white, then immediately goes out completely. Do I need
to replace it?

Xbox 360 Slim will not turn on but when plugged in, power button and disc tray button make the usual noise but Xbox won't turn on.

i basically have the same issue, my xbox slim has worked perfectly up until today, i went to turn it on and the green light comes on for a sec then shuts right off, my power light on the power cord box is orange, it goes green for like half a sec when i
turn it on then it shuts right off.

Before replacing or repairing any item I suggest to always try using a different Power Supply Unit (PSU) or Power cord (depending on which console you
have) to make 100% sure that the actual issue is not with the Power Supply rather than the console. If you have a friend/family member with an Xbox One see if you can use theirs. Once you try a different PSU/PC you will then know for sure if the issue is with
the console or just the Power Supply.

I’m having the same problem!!! I purchased a new Power Supply Brick but the system still does the same thing..... Let me know if you figure out what’s wrong

The console does not come back on. The light on the console when I turn it off does the following: brightens, dims off, brightens, dims off, brightens, and finally turns off ( doesn't dim). The t.v turns off when the light comes back on the first time and
then turns back on after the second time it comes on. I have done both of your suggestions and neither worked.

When i have to shut the console off to get it to stop, i have to wait until the console stops the slow light flashing and for it to turn off completely before turning it back on, if i just turn it off and right back on, the problem still persists.
