When I turn on my Xbox One controller, it lights up, blinks, then slowly dims and turns off

I'm bumping this up because my Xbox One just started doing this yesterday. We turn it off, it turns itself back on within an hour. The screen is dimmed and won't light up even when we use a controller. Auto-sign-in is off as is the ability to turn on the
Xbox using Kinect.

Hey OP, that's certainly odd. When the second quadrant lights up, does the first one go dim? Or do they both light up for a short time? Also, is it possible someone in the house is turning on then turning off a controller remotely?

The console does not come back on. The light on the console when I turn it off does the following: brightens, dims off, brightens, dims off, brightens, and finally turns off ( doesn't dim). The t.v turns off when the light comes back on the first time and
then turns back on after the second time it comes on. I have done both of your suggestions and neither worked.

ok if they change do to light in room. why does my buddies and mine who are in same room. a specific game room. the light are not consistent. however I noticed I dims very low when screan dims and controller turns off.

My power supply lights orange then blinks white for a second when I power up my xbox the turns off and goes back to orange
