    When I try to use a 2 Day Xbox Live Gold Trial it always says there is a problem in the system?


    I know you are supposed to enter the code 'XBOS-3010' and it says that it isn't a real code then I enter 'a8974c71' which it also says is not a real code. I have entered it correctly at least 5 times. Can someone fix this? Or at least help me?

    cant sign in a guest

    so i was using a 14 day trial and it says the guest cant sign in and please use a profile with a valid membership. i thought the trials were for xbox live gold its doing the same thing when i used a 2 day wondering if this is just how its always been

    Xbox Live Gold 2 Days Trial does not work

    Hello,

    a few days ago, my xbox live gold subscription ran out and I thought I could use some of the 48 hours gold trials until I'll buy another month/year of xbox live gold.

    I redeemed one of the trial codes and thought it would work (as it always did).

    Now the problem is: My Xbox One still thinks, that I don't have Xbox Live Gold (When I try to go to Games for Gold it wants me to buy Gold)! The connections to xbox live servers still work. I did even wait one day to make sure there isn't any problem...

    What can I do? Do the trials just work for specific games (for example the trial for Titanfall)??

    The Xbox Live Trial codes are available when you purchase games or console bundles. The prepaid code for the free trial can be a 2, 3 or 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial membership. To know more about Xbox Live Free Trial

    just purchased the tomb raider 1tb xbox one bundle, which comes with a 14 day xbox live gold trial. it actually says "activate your 14 day xbox live gold trial." i am having the same issues. cannot dl free games, yet able to chat. if i try to dl a free game,
    it wants me to upgrade to gold. WTF? it says live gold trial! explain that!

    Yes, you certainly can. The bottom of a 2 Day Gold Pass states the following:

    XBOX LIVE 2-Day gold Membership, free trial allows access to these Gold features: online multiplayer gaming, Netflix, ESPN on XBOX Live, Facebook, free game demos, exclusive discounts, promotions and video content.

    Free 2-day trial offer is only for use on the XBOX 360 and is not valid for current XBOX Live Gold Members. At the end of your 2-day trial period, your membership will default to the FREE XBOX Live Membership, unless you elect to extend your XBOX Live Gold
    Membership.

    Now what this doesn't tell you is that you cannot play in ranked matches with the trial membership, but you are free to play in social matchmaking playlists for games.

    I looked on the account management section on my xbox and it says under the your memberships tab that I have xbox live gold (1 month) and there is also a 2-day gold trial but it is faded and I cannot click on it. I dont know if maybe this could be causing
    the problem? And if there is a way to have the 2-day trial removed from there? Because it has been over 48hrs since I entered that code and it has not disappeared yet.

    The current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live

    I am having the same problem I just activated a 14 day trial and it says "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live." But I have no problem using Netflix which also needs gold to use.
