When I try to sign into Xbox on windows 10 the sign in screen closes immediately

If I try to sign into Xbox on any login screen I.E. Xbox app, Xbox Game Bar. The sign in screen comes up for a fraction of a second, disappears then comes up and disappears. It does this a couple more times before just outright closing entirely.

Its also worth mentioning the entire 'appdata' (C:\users\[user_name]\appdata) folder on my computer became corrupted and was entirely deleted. The led to the Windows Search Menu's cache of indexed applications becoming corrupted which required manual restoration, which I carried out but as the name of the folder would suggest, deleting it would result in all app data being lost. Which must somehow being affecting the creation of essential application files on the disk. I noticed this in the new Minecraft launcher which refused to let me login. This also broke a large majority of other software on my computer which had to be reinstalled; for some strange reason however, the Xbox login system did not start working again after it was reinstalled. Cortana's main win32 link had also broken which was repaired in the 'advanced settings' area of the windows app settings.

Hello Cameron and Happy New Year, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10.

Hello again Cameron, has already checked if the Xbox Companion App is installed, the Xbox App works in conjunction with the App companion and also see if it's added to Windows if you use more than one account on the system.

Hello, I am running windows 10 version 21H2. Before posting the question, I also reinstalled the app and made sure that everything on my computer was up to date ( including the graphics driver ). In other words, your solution hasn't worked.

I have the companion app installed but I'm now discovering that it immediately crashes upon opening and if you open it again this happens:
