when i click sign in it goes to the loading screen like if its loading but it goes back to the screen i was at trying to sign in

so i removed the account, now when I try to add it again, at the point when I select add new I get a series of box"s and spinning wheels "loading wheels" and then it just goes back to the sign in screen. like I was supposed to get an error message but
i am not.
