    When i try to collect my free xbox 360 gold games.


    When I try getting my free Xbox 360 games the store gives me this message.





    Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction on your Xbox.

    I just got a 12 month membership.

    I have tried purchasing these games on the computer and on my Xbox one.

    I heard that redeeming them is easier on the Xbox 360 but for some reason my 360 won't connect to Xbox live even though it has internet.

    I have looked around and nothing has worked for me so far.

    Cant download 360 Games on Games with Gold even though i have a credit card connected to my account.

    I have a Xbox Live Gold account on my Xbox one and i can download and play all Xbox One Games taht are offered free with Games with Gold. But when i try to download the free xbox 360 titles, it says "this purchase channel requires a billing account". I have
    paypal AND a credit card linked to my account. How can i get access to the Xbox 360 Games? When i try to download them from the store, the store wants to charge me the usual price for the titles, even though golden letters above the pricetag say "FREE WITH
    XBOX GOLD".

    Difficulties connecting to my gold membership.

    On my xbox dashboard I get the message saying that I can get my one month gold for free but when I try to enter it I get the message:

    Can't collect information for xbox live error code 80070057

    I know my internet is working fine but I could use some help.

    to purchase a Xbox 360 game (even the free ones) you will require a valid payment option to be attached to your account when you are purchasing the content via Xbox One console, xbox.com or Xbox App.

    The payment option won't be charged but it does need to be present on the account.

    The only way to get Xbox 360 games with gold without a payment option being present is via the Xbox 360 console, since that is having issues you could see this for any possible solutions: Xbox 360 Network Connection Help | Troubleshoot Xbox Live Connection

    When Xbox games with gold existed u get Xbox 360 games free and Xbox one games free. The Xbox one games u claim for free are only free with a gold subscription when it was gold. Now it's gamepass core. But when Xbox games with gold was a thing the Xbox 360 games u get for free are permanent. But Xbox one games are not. U have to keep ur gamepass core to have access to your free to play Xbox one games with gamepass core that u claimed with gold back then.

    It's no different than Sony's "free" Instant Game Collection (requires PlayStation Plus) or Nintendo's NES benefit for Switch Online subscribers. When Games With Gold was started, it was as a response to Sony's IGC, but with one twist. As denis97g stated,
    the Xbox 360 games that were part of Games With Gold were free to keep forever, something Sony was not doing on either PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4. It is a bonus benefit on top of the main reason users subscribe to Xbox Live Gold - to have access to multiplayer
    content.

    XBOX GOLD membership on Xbox one but won't download available Xbox 360 backward compatible game

    I have a similar problem. I no longer have a 360, but I have gold on my Xbox One. When I go to download Battlefield 3 I see that it says "Gold Exclusive Price: Free" but when I click "download to Xbox 360" I get directed to the payment page asking me to
    pay $19.99. Do I still have to have an active 360 to get this game free with gold?
