    When I try to add a new account on recently reset(kept apps and games) I get a blank...


    As the title said, I am trying to add my microsoft account to my Xbox one S, and when I go to add it( via tapping the add new anywhere on the console), I get a blank loading screen and then eventually it will go back to the home screen without ever prompting me to sign in to anything, and still without an account on the console. I've restarted it multiple times, left it for a few hours then came back and tried again(nothing changed).

    If anyone can help me fix this, please do.

    (and I have tried to completely reset but I get the "we couldn't remove this console's home Xbox associations" message.)

    Hello there @ConnorFennell, I hope everything is going well!

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I am sorry to know about the console situation. Since you have already tried resetting the console through the settings, I would like you please to kindly follow the instructions below to physically reset your console:

    - Turn off the console unplug all the cables then re-plug them back again.

    - Since the console is an all digital one, click on the "Bind" button, after 10 seconds click the home "X" button just once without letting go of the button. Throughout the whole process you will hear two beep sounds and end up with a troubleshooting page. On your screen. You will need to select the "Reset this Xbox" option and choose "Reset and keep my games and apps".

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    In case all previously mentioned troubleshooting steps weren't helpful, the next solution would be to perform an offline system update. In the link below you will be directed to everything you need to know about the offline update and how to run it.

    Hi, I've been trying for a few hours to get my xbox to let me sign in and play. I've gone through all the steps on all the forums I could find from smallest to largest like cycling the power all the way to removing my account (very afraid I'm going to lose game save data this way) and finally I've done the Xbox reset but kept all the games and apps. I have not done the reset that removes all the games and apps. The xbox seems to work (turns on, can select games and apps), but when I try to "add new" and get my account back, it spins for awhile and kind of cancels back to the guide screen or home. HELP

    What bugs are you experiencing lately on Xbox ?

    I recently got a new Xbox One X and had been installing games and dlc's on it when suddenly I ran into a problem. When I would try to access the 'My Games & Apps' screen, it would show for a second or two, then go
    blank. I can push the Xbox button on the controller to bring up the menu that will let me return to the home screen. The same thing happens when I try to 'Manage game' from a game. I tried deleting and re-adding the profile, power cycling, factory resetting
    without any improvement.

    Dolby Atmos on Xbox One X = issue !

    The easiest solution for me was to do a reset on the xbox one... I did a reset but kept the apps and games installed... there might've been some settings we changed that messed it up... I couldn't get Dolby Atmos to work on Netflix for a month.. kept trying
    and trying then I decided to reset the whole system and now it works perfectly...
