When I signed in it came up the name you start with on the xbox

Hi all, I thought I sorted my problem out but when I signed in it came up the name you start with on the xbox

So now I haven't my tag. But on the one I'm OK, , I'm scared to sign off on the one incase it goes ****, or should I just make both xbox the same email and password. .Please let me know, thanks for reading

Weird never had this happen idk what to call it

Ok so ya. When i am playing a games say GTA or any game .. I'll start the game up and I'll be signed into live before I start the game no problem with that

. when I start up any type of multiplayer in game selection it will say my name has signed in on my friends on who's playing next to me.

Every time a new map starts to load It says it again that I signed in online . meanwhile nothing is wrong no lag nothing on my Xbox one or random sign outs .

Anyway to stop that people are already angry

Hey guys! Is the profile you want to sign in to still on your console? If so log in to it, open Account Management, and look under WLID. Is that the same email address you are using to sign in on Xbox.com? Try that one and let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.

I don't quite understand your problem. Are you talking about when you only sign into your Xbox One or this community forum?

The Xbox One will greet you by your Name and then display your Xbox Gamertag. It will not change this unless you decide to change this yourself, which you will need to pay for. However, if your talking about this community forum, you need to select the option
on Edit profile to have your Xbox Gamertag displayed or choose one to display yourself.

Hi there I'm trying to get on my xbox 360 but when I try to sign in it says wrong password also I've reset it alot of times but it still doesn't work this is for the 360.. My one is fine, and that is a different email and password. I've been at this
for a month now.. I did get something done but it came up the name you start with on the xbox 360 not my game tag, please help thanks for reading ...

If the account is suggesting you have entered your username and password incorrectly, but you have entered it in correctly. The chances are it has not updated the account information on your Xbox 360.

What I would recommend doing is removing your Account only by going to: Dashboard > Settings > Account > Remove Account (Might not be in this exact order as it has been three years since I have played on Xbox 360)

Then press your guide button and add profile again.
