When I sign in, the $1 promotion for the Xbox Game Pass PC switches to $4.99...why?

Good I'm glad it worked for you. I've tried getting sale games before and had this happen. After waiting a bit, sometimes until later that day, it seems that it would work itself out and show the correct pricing.

The offer is straight up dude without so much drama. You get xbox live membership and game pass membership in the same price 14.99 a month.
Currently, there's a promotion that'll get you Game Passfor PC for only $4.99 for your first month, or you can try out
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the super low priceof $1 for the first month.

Game pass ultimate does state it is the ultimate game pass and xbox live gold but when I signed up it didnt give me EA access unless I purchased it but its definitely worth the 4.99 a month.

Judging by the price your referring to im assuming this is relation to game pass for pc.

Starting from the 17th of September microsoft made the decision to remove the introductory promotional price of $4.99 and bring it up to the standard 9.99

Due to the timing of the price increase microsoft notified people directly on that date that the price would rise after the next billing cycle therefore honouring the next payment at 4.99 still but rising after
