It was mentioned that you are running the beta version of Windows 22H2, and I would like to know which build is currently installed.



Please be aware that Insider builds are rife with bugs, and you may encounter them while using this build.



In regards to the purchasing issue, what we can recommend is for you to sign out of your Microsoft account, sign back in, and then test if you'll be able to make a purchase. You may also try to move out of the insider build and then test if you will be able to purchase the pack after moving out of the insider build.

Make sure your Windows OS is up to date.

Make sure the date and time are set correctly.

Reset the Microsoft Store by performing the steps below

• Go to settings
  
• App
  
• Apps and features
  
• Find the Microsoft store
  
• Click advanced options.
  
• Click reset.
  
• If this doesn't work
  
• Click remove.
  

Re-register the app

Open PowerShell(admin)

Then run the command below

I'm having the same issue. added card to my sons account as a payment method but cards show up in the credit cards section of his account in my MS family. when i approve a purchase instead of asking me to add money to his account, it appears as if I'm buying it for him using the payment method linked to my MS account, even though on the xbox he selected the credit card linked to his account.

1. why doesn't the credit card linked to his personal MS account show up in the credit section for him in My family

2. Why is it trying to use my payment method to pay for a game i approved, when he selected the payment method linked to his account when requesting permission to buy?

The app is probably asking you how you want to pay because, although you have money in your account, it is not necessarily associated with your preferred payment method. To make the payment process easier, the app usually allows you to choose which payment method you want to use for the purchase.

To explain better:

1. Payment Methods:

Often, you have several payment methods associated with your account (credit card, digital account balance, etc.).

2. Flexibility:

The app allows you to choose which method to use for each purchase, even if you have a balance in other payment methods.

3. Priority:

Sometimes, the app may have a default payment method, but it gives you the option to change to another if you want.

4. Skyway:

In your case, if you have a balance in your Skyway account and have configured Skyway as your payment method, it will be the default option. However, if you have other payment methods and want to use them, the app will give you the opportunity to select.

I have a valid payment method linked to my Xbox already, but I still can't make any purchases for 360 games
